Brandyn is a client advisor and Akron market leader, and is focused on supporting middle-market business across a variety of industries, such as nonprofit, manufacturing and health care. In his role, Brandyn works with clients to anticipate and manage their potential risks and to design risk management and insurance programs that meet their specific business needs. In addition to his work as a client advisor, Brandyn also is responsible for leading Schauer Group’s expansion into the greater Akron region and heads the team that is growing the company’s presence and developing new relationships in the Akron community.
Brandyn earned a degree in finance from Walsh University and has since served on both the Walsh University President’s Advisory Board and the DeVille School of Business Advisory Board. He is in the process of completing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation to expand his risk management and insurance knowledge.
Brandyn is active in the community, devoting much of his time to supporting the greater Akron region. He currently serves on the boards of United Way of Summit & Medina; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Summit, Medina, and Stark Counties; and Direction Home Akron Canton. In addition to his board service, Brandyn is active with the Akron Urban League Young Professionals. He also is as a member of The Institute for Emerging Philanthropists through the Akron Community Foundation – a program designed to help community leaders develop plans for a lifelong commitment to philanthropy.
