Tell us about your role at Schauer Group:

I manage Schauer’s accounting service team, where I am instrumental in maintaining and reconciling account receivables and payables. I’m also skilled in establishing controls, enforcing payment security and record-keeping for the firm.

What’s an important lesson you’ve learned during your career?

It’s been overwhelming to discover how many different insurance coverages are available. I never knew how extensive insurance coverage could be.

What do you like best about working in this industry?

It’s amazing how quickly the industry changes. I enjoy learning new ways to better service our clients, and I enjoy assisting my co-workers when a unique billing scenario arises.

What do you enjoy most about your career with Schauer Group?

Schauer is a family-owned business, and you can tell they truly care about their employees, clients and community.

When you are not working, what do you like to do?

When I’m not working, my days are filled with training 2 new puppies that recently joined our family. Spending time with the grandchildren and family is always satisfying.
