Achieving the ARM designation requires the successful completion of three tested courses that are focused on developing the skills needed to strategically assess and mitigate risk. The ARM courses also count toward completion of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting designation – the premier credential in the risk management industry.

Perry joined Schauer Group in 2024 and is based out of the firm’s Akron and Canton offices. In his role, he is responsible for working with commercial insurance clients to understand their risk profiles and designing customized risk management and insurance programs. Before coming to Schauer Group, Perry previously worked both as a risk and insurance analyst for a global engineering company and as an account manager with insurance brokerage firms.
He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in insurance studies and is a graduate of the 2023 Cleveland Leadership Center OnBoard Cleveland program.
