Twenty under 40! recognizes outstanding Stark County young professionals for their professional and personal achievements. Each year, winners are selected based on their demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and career success. The award is given in partnership by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Canton Repository.
Deanna joined Schauer Group in 2015 as a commercial insurance client manager and now leads the firm’s employee benefits client service division. In her current role, Deanna is responsible for daily oversight of the department; maintaining relationships with insurance company partners; and managing and delivering client service, including hosting open enrollment meetings, conducting renewal meetings and assisting with onboarding of new clients.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, majoring in criminal justice, and obtained a master’s in public administration from the University of Akron. She has both a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant designation, and she is a graduate of the 35th class of the Leadership Stark County Signature Program.
In the Stark County community, Deanna is a member of the Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital and serves on the board of The Workshops, Inc. She also runs Schauer Group’s United Way of Greater Stark County workplace campaign and coordinates kickoff events, volunteering opportunities and fundraising.
