Schauer Group is an independent risk management and insurance advisory firm that offers expert risk management consulting and customized business insurance, employee benefits, personal insurance and surety solutions for clients nationwide. While the firm has operated a Cleveland-area office for more than a decade, this is the first time the team has been located downtown.
The new office, in the U.S. Bank Centre, was strategically selected to help Schauer Group strengthen relationships and continue to build expertise in the Cleveland market – ultimately, allowing the firm’s advisors to better meet the needs of area organizations.

We’re excited to deepen our investment in Cleveland and support the region’s businesses with our risk management solutions.”
Beyond its client base, the team in Cleveland has existing partnerships with several community organizations – including the American Heart Association, Shoes and Clothes for Kids, the Cleveland Leadership Center and The City Club of Cleveland – and will continue to identify other ways the firm can give back.
In addition to strengthening Schauer Group’s investment in the Cleveland community, the firm’s downtown office also is expected to help Schauer Group continue to deliver on its goal of attracting and retaining the region’s top talent.
Since the relocation, the Cleveland-based team already has hired two new advisors, who will focus on new business development, and an additional client manager, who will help service the firm’s existing accounts. The firm also is working with local talent organizations to help connect Cleveland college students to Schauer Group’s internship program.
